Exosomes are small extracellular vesicles that contain a unique collection of proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, and metabolites. Produced by virtually all cells in the body, they are believed to play a crucial role in regulating long-distance intercellular communication. Given their ability to selectively package and deliver molecules to specific cells, exosomes hold great potential as biological carriers for therapeutic agents. Our aim is to develop exosomes as a platform technology for regenerative therapy through strategic modifications of their structure and contents.
